Production

PET-Power’s production consists of 50 identical Aoki Injection Stretch Blowing Machines (spring 2006) which are installed in 2 specific production areas. 40 Machines are in the regular controlled production area and 10 machines are in the state-of-the-art ISO Class 7 clean room (read more about this in the pharmasection). With 50 identical machines PET-Power is extremely flexible on planning, as basically each product can be produced on each of the machines. Production works in 3 shifts, 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, which leaves the weekends to accelerate for special demands. All products are in-line leaktested and automatically tray-packed on the highest quality cardboard to form a full pallet. The full pallets are automatically shrinksleaved to prevent any contamination during stocking or shipping.

Logistics

PET-Power’s warehousing consists of 14.000 m2 which has a capacity for stocking 17.000 pallets. It is PET-Power’s goal to be able to supply all standard products from stock and to hold a buffer stock for custom products guaranteeing Just In Time (JIT) delivery as agreed upon with their customers. PET-Power packs their products on light weight, one-way pallets made out off fully recyclable materials. By making the pallets a maximum of 1.45 m in height PET-Power’s volume-trucks are capable of shipping 60 standard pallets or 76 euro pallets to the customer per delivery, providing the highest possible efficiency in transport. On a yearly base PET-Power ships more than 100.000 pallets per year.
