Hygienic production
Development
Pet Power was one of the first manufacturers in the world to provide packaging solutions specifically for the pharmaceutical sector. To this end, the company developed a concept whereby the entire production run - not only packaging the end product - takes place in a so-called cleanroom. This concept is unique in the global packaging industry.
Strict conditions
The cleanroom is a separate location where sensors monitor round the clock whether air quality, temperature and humidity comply with strict conditions. The most important part, the production room, complies with the standards of ISO class 7 (GMP class C). The initial layer of foil is applied to the bottle or jar here, and not in the packaging area. The packaging part of the cleanroom is rated for ISO class 8 (GMP class 8). The equipment creates a log of the values recorded during production. In this way, it can also be ascertained in retrospect whether the conditions complied with the requirements.
Capacity
The cleanroom has a floor area of 1,200 square metres and provides space for 10 production lines. This capacity enables PET Power, as no other, to cope with the occasionally sharply fluctuating needs of its partners in the pharmaceutical sector. This has become particularly clear in recent years, when serious diseases broke out across the world a number of times.
Additional services
PET Power also provides supplementary services in the area of laboratory tests and irradiation. For this, please consult page. |
